In america there are still some people that believe that men and women are not to be treated equally. Normally when we here of these conditions we think its in the middle east or some where other than america. A Baptist Seminary fired a female teacher on the grounds that she does not have the right to teach men under their beliefs. While it is within their rights as a private school, why was she teaching in the first place. If they believed so passionately why did they compromise in the first place to teach.
Seems like no one minds when the ladies teach Sunday school as long as its not in front of the pulpit for the congregation.
The Baptist Seminary action is based on a verse in 1st Timothy in which the Apostle Paul says, “I permit no woman to teach or have authority over a man.”

One of my favorite things about the Super bowl was hanging with my friends. Then one year a church youth group got the idea for fund raising to set up a bunch of lazy boys and show the bowl on the church big screen, I loved it.
The NFL has decided to also, after a brief stint of telling people not to.

Normally I ignore this guy. But I have to pray for Mr. Phelps more now that God would open his eyes. I found out that he is organizing with his group to show up at Heath Ledgers funeral. Its such a sad situation with Heaths family and daughter. It struck a chord in my heart. Pray more for his daughter than anything.
Isn’t it clear in the bible. Fornication which is used many times in the bible says more about Idol worship than sexual acts. In fact their sexual acts were condemned because they were for the idol worship not worship Of God and love. Isn’t strange flesh

Jude is talking of idol worship, were mankind even forgets his own kind and uses animals in idol worship acts.

Mr. Phelps millions of people die without food and water. Millions of people need food. Millions of people who need love.
John 13:34-35: “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
